Another month of musical chairs in the Fashion industry, as the creative director merry-go-round shows no sign of slowing. Following recent acquisition by Dubai-based Paris Group, Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi have been dismissed from Gianfranco Ferré, after holding the post since 2008.
After confirming that Hannah McGibbon would survive at least another season at Chloé, Clare Waight Keller has been named the house’s new creative director come June 1st, as McGibbon ‘focuses on new projects’. Finally, Alessandro Sartori has announced his departure from Z Zegna, where he has been the creative director for eight years, to be replaced by Paul Surridge, the current head designer of Jil Sander.
Gian Riccardo Marini, CEO, Rolex
The former managing director of Rolex Italia S.p.A. Marini, Gian Riccardo Marini, has been named the company’s new global CEO, effective immediately, succeeded Bruno Meier who has held the post since 2008.
