The recent success of Top Marques in Monaco and Hainan Rendez-Vous in China signal a resurrected interest in supercars, megayachts, helicopters and private jets, in Hainan alone, to the tune of 300 million euros in just four days.

Millionaire Fair
Initiator Yves Gijrath, CEO Gijrath Media Groep and publisher of Miljonair Magazine, launched the idea for the Millionaire Fair as a place where the cream of the international luxury industry could meet and present their most exclusive products and services. In keeping with the theme of the magazine: ‘The Luxury Lifestyle’, the first event took place in Amsterdam in 2002, and in just one year had quadrupled in terms of size and number of visitors. Millionaire Fair was then launched in Moscow in 2005, followed by exhibitions in Antwerp, Shanghai and Istanbul.
The event strives to exhibit both new and established brands at the absolute top of the luxury segment, across art & antiques, luxury cars, interior & design, jewellery & watches, travel, yachts, private jets, helicopters, fashion, spirits, fine foods, beauty, consumer electronics, property and finance.

Top Marques
Top Marques originated in Monaco eight years ago as an event to showcase luxury supercars and innovative peak performance designs, and also utilise the celebrated racecourse of the Monaco Grand Prix. In 2011 the test drive circuit was closed to traffic for drivers to experience a blood pumping trial around the famous F1 Racasse corner. The event has grown to incorporate Superboats, available for sea trial in the Principality’s Port Fontvieille. In 2011 Top Watches debuted within the event, showcasing the world’s finest timepieces and collector’s limited editions from brands such as IWC, Montblanc, Piaget, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Roger Dubuis and Franck Muller.
The event takes place annually in Monaco and under license in Shanghai, for the first time in 2012 Top Marques will launch in Macau at The Venetian Resort Hotel with 2.1 km of test drive track.

DeLUXE
Beginning in 2004 on the coast of Porto Cervo, on the island of Sardinia, DeLUXE is a unique showcase dedicated to luxury, yachts, cars and champagne. The forum is not just a fair, but a comprehensive event incorporating fashion shows, cocktail receptions, fine dining and entertainment, alongside an extensive exhibition of luxury products and services.
Following the success of the Italian event, DeLUXE has since been launched in Russia in 2010 and Singapore in 2011, with plans for events in Monaco and China in 2012.

Hainan Rendez-Vous
Hainan Rendez-Vous is a four-day ultimate lifestyle event celebrating the excitement and glamour of superyachts, business jets and displays of upmarket international properties and high-end brands. The event is held in Sanya city on Hainan Island’s ‘Chinese Riviera’, organised by Delphine Ligniere.
In 2011 over 250 Chinese ultra-high net worth individuals were flown to the event on business jets, and over 15,000 people visited the 185 exhibition booths set up along the 500-metre promenade outside the Visun Royal Yacht Club. Nearly one hundred yachts and superyachts docked for the show along the riverbank outside the yacht club, making Hainan Rendez-Vous the largest in-water boat show in the country.
The inaugrual event in 2010 resulted in orders to the tune of 90 million euros, not including pending purchase options, and in 2011 the figure increased to 300 million euros, a sure sign that this is one of the most important dates on the luxury lifestyle calendar.

1.618 Sustainable Luxury Fair
The 1.618 Sustainable Luxury Fair aims to harmonise desire and responsibility, beauty and equity, style and durability, where each exhibitor’s Sustainable Development qualities are evaluated by a committee of experts prior to the validation of its participation.
