Bucherer, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and is one of Europe’s biggest watch and jewelry retail chains.

The company has around 1600 employees and 15 exclusive stores in Switzerland, nine in Germany and one each in Austria and France. The Bucherer store in Paris is the world’s largest watch and jewelry store. Other Bucherer Group members include KURZ AG Jewelers with 12 branches, the two SWISS LION AG stores and a number of brand-specific boutiques.

At the heart of the jewelry range are the jewelry lines designed and produced in the company’s own workshops together with individual pieces made using very rate natural-colored diamonds, unusual colored gemstones or much-sought-after pearls.

Bucherer’s main store has been a major landmark on Lucerne’s Schwanenplatz, with over 125 years of history behind it, is also set to re-open in spring 2016, following major refurbishment. All-round extension work and improvements are currently fully under way, and the first highlight of the House has already been unveiled: the newly created jewelry department on the third floor.
