Audi City, Berlin

Audi debuts its third digital flagship concept in Berlin, as Salvatore Ferragamo takes San Francisco and Zegna exits Belgrade and Bucharest

When one door closes another opens, or so they say. For Ermenegildo Zegna, two doors will close in 2014 – in Bucharest and Belgrade – despite the brand’s ability to successfully open in both Argentina and Nigeria, with future plans for Angola and Mozambique.

The Italian suitmaker has terminated its franchise agreement with a leading local luxury fashion & accessories retailer in Bucharest by mutual agreement and will close its mono-brand boutique by the end of February 2014.

The brand has also shuttered its label corner for Z Zegna within multi-brand concept store XYZ, in Belgrade, Serbia. The XYZ concept stores in Belgrade, Zagreb and Ljubljana are owned and operated by regional retailer Sportina Group (CPP Luxury).
