Another acquisition has been followed by another key exit. Just three months after the sale of Vionnet to Go to Enterprise Sarl, headed by the London-based Goga Ashkenazi, creative directors Barbara and Lucia Croce have “have, currently, interrupted their collaboration” with the storied brand. No official reason has been given for their departure, other than WWD reporting it could be related to clashes with Ashkenazi herself.

Despite such news, Vionnet has confirmed the Paris spring show will be held regularly on September 28th, designed by an in-house team. And that it will mark the 100th anniversary of the brand on September 30th “with a special event and presentation of the Demi Couture collection.”

Pringle of Scotland will also part ways with managing director Benoit Duverger, following the departure of design director Alistair Carr in April. Mr. Duverger has been re-assigned as a senior consultant to the Fang family, who own the Pringle of Scotland brand. The managing director role will not be re-filled, instead Mr. Duverger will work closely with CEO Jean Fang to roll out the new retail concept globally.

Natalie Massenet, founder of the Net-a-Porter group, has been appointed chairman of the British Fashion Council (BFC), replacing Harold Tillman, who has served since 2008. Typically the honorary role has tenure of three years, yet Ms. Massenet is rumoured to only have committed until some time in 2013.
